With each package we now offer unlimited chocolate and dips. We now offer the large fountain and surround for every hire, whilst maintaining the same price structure for different sized events. We have opted for 8-9 different dip options as our standard and recommend amount. We are happy to offer a larger number of dips fee of charge to any event however we feel the 8/9 choices allows the best use of the fountain for your guests. The wider range of dips you have the less of each dips you inevitable have meaning the best dips disappear before all your guests have had chance to enjoy them.

Unlimited Chocolate

We use this term on each enquiry form we send out. And we mean it! Lots of suppliers use this as a selling point but 2 hours into your hire will run out of chocolate and blame it on your guests using the fountain more than once, or having too many dips etc. We use the term to describe the fact that for the 3 hours we hire to you (or more if we have arranged) your chocolate fountain will run smoothly and be topped up when necessary. We allow your guests to use the fountain as they wish and we also allow your guests to dips them selves – as many times as they want. They can have 2 dips or 20 dips it is up to them and we will keep the chocolate replenished throughout your hire. The only stipulation we have is that you don’t fill up cups, plates, handbags etc. with the chocolate.

Huge Range of Dips

Would you like 50 different dips for your fountain? We will do this for you at the same price as the 8/9 options we suggest you to go for. But we would strongly recommend against such a large range of dips. Even though you may think the wider the range the more attractive, it is easily forgotten such a large range of dips will contain less of the good dips in place of a new dip. Such wide ranges of dips that some companies offer mean all the good dips will run out before the new (poor tasting dips). We therefore suggest to have 8/9 of the best and most popular dips allowing each one of your guests the chance to experience the fountain in the best way possible. Companies offering 20+ dips as their packages main selling point should be dealt with carefully. A chocolate fountain package should have many other important factors above the number of dips on offer and more often than not it really shows a lack of experience and misunderstanding of what occurs at each of these hires and the critical factors needed to have a successful and delicious chocolate fountain hire. Extra dips can added but experience, professionalism, and great customer service cannot be added to a hire so easily.

Local Supplier

One of the biggest myths from clients is that using a local supplier is going to be cheaper than some one a little further down the road. This myth is one that must be avoided at all costs. It is 9 times out of 10 incorrect. It also will restrict you to finding the best supplier for your event. Some times we get enquiries where people will mention they are waiting to hear back from a few other companies before making a decision. If asked how long they have been waiting we are amazed to hear replies such as 1 week, 9 days, and once 15 days. At Jack’s Chocolate Fountains we will reply to your forms within a maximum of 24hrs. More often than not we will reply to you within the hour. This will not be the case at weekends and at night due to this being the times we are hiring the fountains. If you have to wait more than 24hrs for a reply then this tells you three things. Firstly that the company isn’t used to getting lots of enquiries, meaning they will check their email less often. Secondly, that this is not the supplier’s full time job, suggesting that the experience of multiple hires is not there. Finally it should suggest that if the hirer is already having issues getting back to you before you have booked anything that maybe looking else where is a good idea.

A great indicator of a company’s quality of service is their website. This acts as the company’s first point of contact with their customers. 9 times out of 10, an efficient way of filtering out the really unprofessional suppliers, is their website. If you can’t navigate the site easily, come across it quickly via search engines, see up to date posts or blog entries, then it shows a lack of thought for what the website is there for. If such obvious issues have been over looked at your first introduction to the company, then when it comes to the smaller details of your hire and fountain hire how confident can you be that a good service is going to be offered.

We feel it is important when paying for a particular service, especially those that center around special occasions, you use someone who has the experience and past record that suggest they will do a brilliant job. Assuming your only point of contact with the chocolate fountain company is their website (which is nearly always the case), you should be able to access photos and references from previous hires, plus up to date blogs about the company and its happenings should be regularly up dated. We then took our chocolate fountains to north Manchester and supplied four weddings in two days. A busy and tight schedule but with great feedback from each hire a successful couple of days. We then headed back into the center of Manchester for another club event. This time a private party for Northern Drama and Education. We ended our north-west tour with a double fountain hire for Sarah’s 40th. We are now preparing for the Christmas Eve hires and making sure everything is organised for the biggest and busiest day of the year… the 31st December. December 2010 has been a big month for Jack’s Chocolate Fountains, and we are only 8 days into it.
